Watch world-class surfers tackle Manly’s swell and party in between sets
This leg of the the World Surf League Qualifying Series prepares international wave riders for the 2019 Championship Tour. You can watch stars like Kelly Slater slice through the water from March 16-24.
But when the sun fades or the tubes turn to bubbling whitewash, there’s plenty of activities and events to keep the beach party going. You can see sand sculptures and learn how craft your own castle on March 16, rally a crew for the Manly Inflatable Boat Race on March 17, or head to the Drop music festival on March 23.
There’s also family-friendly markets, movies screenings and specials on at local eateries around Manly.
