What’s on the weekend: Sydney Family Easter Show 2021

Jam-packed with entertainment for the whole family

Everyone’s favourite Easter school holiday favourite returns this April!

The Sydney Family Show is back following a COVID-19-imposed hiatus in 2020 and offers TWO fun-filled weeks of exciting carnival rides & attractions at the Entertainment Quarter Showring, Moore Park. Tickets are now on sale!

Held from April 1st to 18th 2021, this year’s event is jam-packed with entertainment for the whole family and promises to be Sydney’s best value family show! “The Sydney Family Show is a perennial favourite with Sydney families, providing exceptional value for money during the Easter school holidays with entry to the show costing only $40 for a family of four,” said Britt Osborne, Event Director of the Sydney Family Show.

The newly introduced entry fee is in compliance with NSW Health COVID guidelines of a controlled and registered ticketing system for all events. Entry to the show includes a massive range of free activities including access to the reptile show, the bunny hopping competition on Good Friday, a daily stage show, plus two hours of free parking.

Another free activity is the Shimano Fishing Show, featuring nationally known fishing presenter and enthusiast, Dave “Mossy” Moss. With his giant 10-metre long fishing tank filled with barramundi and bream, Mossy will guide the audience on how to successfully “reel one in” with a range of fantastic tips and advice.

Thrill-seekers will flock to adrenaline-fuelled carnival rides such as the Super Sizzler and YoYo, while the more sedate Classic Carousel and dodgem cars will also bring delight. Two-hour unlimited ride sessions are excellent value at only $30 per person, with an option to also purchase individual ride tickets.
