Enjoy the biggest pets’ day out on the lower north shore with fun for all the family.
The biggest pets’ day out on the lower north shore returns. Free fun for all the family includes dog demonstrations, expert talks, free kids’ activities, live music and delicious food stalls.
Dog demonstrations include obedience, agility, Frisbee, Flyball and dancing. There will also be prizes on the day for the Most Fabulous Senior Dog, Best Dressed Dog, Best Dog Trick and a Dog and Owner Lookalike competition, and a raffle to support Bradfield Bark’s charity partner Sydney Dogs & Cats Home.
Pet experts, including Dr Katrina Warren with her Wonderdogs, will give free talks and tutorials about animal behaviour, and training tips and techniques. You might also spot a few pet influencers including Mr Biscuit the Pug, who has over 100,000 Instagram followers, Nigella the Pug and Simba the Samoyed.
There’s also plenty to keep the children entertained with 2 jumping castles, face painting, an interactive mural and a Reverse Garbage workshop where they can make leads and toys for their pet or teddy.
For Paw Patrol fans, Skye will make a guest appearance along with Puss in Boots. Other activities include an artist drawing caricatures of dogs and their owners.
Dogs must be kept on a leash, but there is a designated off-lead area.
To complement the fun activities, there will be live music from Michael Kopp Duo, Evergreen Music and Cavan Te Trio. There’s also plenty of delicious food to choose from, including Gelatissimo who are offering a 2-4-1 offer to buy 1 human ice cream, and get a dog ice cream free!
